The liquid compartment on the back features a red glow-in-the-dark effect — it needs to be exposed to light to charge up before it can glow in the dark. The photo shows the glow after 1 minute of charging under a lamp; it may appear slightly brighter in the image due to camera auto-exposure. Please note that the glow-in-the-dark feature is a fun bonus, not the main selling point of this piece.
